Had a rather cultural weekend fitting in both Tate galleries :p Tate Modern has a long slide from level 5 to ground level which is quite good fun

Blood Diamond is such a good movie! Hope it wins lots and lots of awards.

I went to a different church tonight. It's small and young. I even met some people from the Bartlett! Feeling very happy actually  Hopefully I will stick to this one... *naughty*

Now I'm going to watch the Shawshank Redemption, courtesy of this sweet gal. There's 3 dvds of it! :p

the latest james bond film is really good! minus perhaps the venetian building sinking scenes. i like mr bond

i'm sorry i haven't posted in such a long while: basically i have no internet at home and i can never produce any interesting thoughts late at night at the office having no internet at home is not entirely bad: i am forced to go out, and this is good for me because i'm the sort of person who can stay at home all day just reading a book. anyway, i suspect that my diary habit will soon come back, because part 3 studying time is fast approaching and having to study in front of the computer for long hours has always resulted in good posts anyway, i'm always on email, right?

Hope 2006 - year of the dog? - is full of great developments for us. For myself I wish for more obedience and discipline. And for all my friends I wish for wisdom (to make wise choices), patience (to wait for good things), and good health (to enjoy life).

p.s. on saturday, while wanchai roads were blocked, oxford street was also blocked for christmas shoppers to march into shops unimpeded. there was a whole lane of shoppers marching towards selfridges, and i got chatting to some of the 'marchers' on the way. everyone was baffled that there were...so many of us :p
