lalala in the eighties i was at school and eighties songs are well impressed in my memory. unfortunately there are very few people in the world that i can share my eighties songs with, i.e. who can still bear to listen to them, sing along and take the piss of them! are you an eighties kid?

9 years in london and i've only just been there. lol. must go there again. the first band was like the verve but more upbeat, the second was rather eighties, the third was like green day. a good mix and very dancey too. i like.

i read on xanga that the harder you work, the harder you play. so very true. i am so up to here with work that i've finally learnt how to play hard. bring it on. heee

mr. yau has owned a ramen bar empire - which started off by commissioning john pawson and david chipperfield - , two thai restaurants designed by christian liaigre, a high-flying chinese restaurant by jestico whiles and a dimsum place inside a richard rogers building. if you are very hungry - and you're feeling plush - i recommend an alan yau day: yumcha at yauatcha, afternoon snack at busaba, late dinner and drinks at hakkasan. mr yau has a michelin star, but he should also be awarded something architectural, an honorary design prize for someone who didn't study design but sure does it like the best.  oooh mmm aaaah yauatcha does takaway stuff too  and it's so successful that some people love to hate it :D

may 11th deadline....on may 12 the endless working stops, i turn a new leaf and my life begins proper. *thumbs up*
